Articles, Board Meetings, Literature, and Research on the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP)

Stay up to date with the most recent information available related to the EPPP and licensing requirements. I upload anything and everything I come across related to the EPPP. The collection focuses particularly on the validity and reliability of the EPPP and any documented adverse impact on Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)

White Paper

What is a "White Paper"?
"A white paper is a report or guide that informs readers concisely about a complex issue and presents the issuing body's philosophy on the matter. It is meant to help readers understand an issue, solve a problem, or make a decision. A white paper is the first document researchers should read to better understand a core concept or idea." Below are screenshots from the agenda that is publicly available on the link provided above. I have my own data that I have been gathering and will post once I am able to.

  • The CA BOP reached out to ASPPB regarding lower passing rates in CA and data is to be provided to Board members, however there was something mentioned about some data that is not collected.

  •  Unfortunately, no one spoke up for public comment to inquire further about the statistics and the decreasing passing rates in CA, or any correlations on BIPOC vs non-BIPOC EPPP passing rates.

Q: Should I attend the next board meeting?

A: Absolutely! Please, and give your commentary. Here is the schedule for the next CA BOP meetings.
